Being a Manager of Product Marketing at iManage Means…
You will lead a team of Product Marketing Managers responsible for key portfolio areas across iManage, including security, governance, risk and compliance, AI, and the iManage knowledge work platform, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Marketing.
You will provide direction, clarity, and structure to ensure consistent and high-quality product marketing execution across all workstreams. You will also serve as the subject matter expert for security, governance, risk and compliance portfolio area and create related GTM strategy, messaging and positioning.
You will bring a structured and process-driven approach to organizing complex workstreams, enabling repeatable execution and shaping how iManage communicates value.
iM Responsible For…
- Managing and developing a team of three Product Marketing Managers who support the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio, the AI portfolio and the iManage knowledge work platform
- Providing structure, process discipline and operational clarity to ensure consistent and predictable execution across product marketing deliverables
- Serving as the subject matter expert for the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio and partnering closely with Product Management and a dedicated Product Marketing Manager to ensure alignment on value and readiness
- Establishing strong cross-functional coordination with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and the broader Marketing organization
Messaging and Positioning
- Developing differentiated messaging and positioning for the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio and ensuring clarity and cohesion across all related platform areas
- Creating value propositions that reflect how organizations govern information, manage records, enforce policies, manage client-matter risk and protect sensitive data
- Ensuring messaging reflects how AI introduces new security, governance, risk and compliance risks and how iManage helps organizations manage these safely and effectively
- Evolving messaging in collaboration with Product Management as capabilities develop and customer expectations shift
Go-To-Market Strategy and Enablement
- Leading the go-to-market strategy for new capabilities, enhancements and major releases across the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio
- Partnering with Product Management throughout the release lifecycle to ensure clear articulation of value and market readiness
- Acting as a subject matter expert for Sales Enablement and informing content, training, demos and competitive insights while enablement and content teams manage production
- Driving operational discipline by establishing organized workflows, consistent processes and clear expectations that ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Applying established go-to-market frameworks and developing new templates and processes that scale effectively across portfolios and teams
Thought Leadership and Brand Positioning
- Serving as a subject matter expert when the marketing organization develops thought leadership, customer stories, analyst content and external messaging related to security, governance, risk and compliance
- Representing the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio in webinars, events, analyst briefings and customer conversations
- Strengthening how iManage is positioned in areas such as records lifecycle management, information governance, matter security, policy enforcement and threat awareness
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Monitoring trends in records management, information governance, client-matter risk, policy enforcement, security and compliance workflows in legal and professional services
- Assessing competitive positioning across comparable markets and platforms to identify opportunities for differentiation
- Contributing insights to the existing Market, Competitive Intelligence and Customer Insights program
- Providing recommendations to Product Management and leadership based on market trends, customer needs and competitive shifts
Customer and Analyst Relations
- Engaging directly with customers to understand security, governance, risk and compliance workflows and incorporating these insights into messaging and go-to-market plans
- Supporting Analyst Relations by providing accurate portfolio knowledge, competitive context and positioning guidance for evaluations and briefings
- Informing customer evidence and case studies with workflow and portfolio expertise
Analytics and Optimization
- Measuring the effectiveness of messaging, launches and go-to-market activity across the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance portfolio
- Using insights from sales feedback, product use, market performance and win-loss analysis to refine strategy and execution
- Continuously optimizing go-to-market approaches to align with customer needs and product evolution
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- Eight to ten years of experience in product marketing or related disciplines
- Prior experience managing Product Marketing Managers or similar roles with proven ability to coach, delegate and drive strong execution
- Experience with security, governance, risk compliance or information governance products in legal, professional services or enterprise content environments
- Experience with legal or professional services workflows such as client-matter inception, conflicts checks, records retention, matter security, ethical walls or compliance oversight
- Demonstrated success partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Sales Enablement, Customer Success and Marketing
- A process-driven working style with the ability to organize complex workstreams, standardize outputs and improve predictability and quality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment and across multiple portfolio areas
Bonus Points If I Have...
- Knowledge of security, governance, risk and compliance considerations related to AI solutions, including risks introduced by generative and agentic AI systems
- Project management experience that supports structured planning, coordination and delivery across complex product marketing initiatives

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
