Summary
The Pricing Manager - Supply Chain Solutions will be responsible for leading the pricing and other financial analysis activities supporting the Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial industry verticals within the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) segment. Pricing activities encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including gathering cost data for development of costing analysis in support of all SCS product offerings; analysis of alternative pricing and billing strategies; presentation of pricing strategies to internal organization and potential customers; and contract review/analysis/negotiation. There will be a high level of interaction, up to senior levels, with various internal organizations (sales, operations, engineering, IT, legal, field finance) as well as with potential customers

Essential Functions

  • Pricing Support On a daily basis: Provide financial and sales strategy support to the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams in support of collective business development efforts. Identify and communicate deal risks and advise on how to mitigate through pricing strategy. Ensure deals are structured in accordance with corporate guidelines and meet or exceed financial hurdle rates. Complete customer pricing deliverables and develop and present bids to customers. Develop and manage relationships with functional experts to ensure best practices are incorporated into the pricing process
  • Employee Development & Supervision: Plan staffing requirements, hiring (internal & external), work plan development Employee training and development Employee review and performance appraisals Provide overview and direction on projects Facilitate the flow of work and communication between analysts
  • Develop pricing strategy, tactics, guidelines and tools for the Sales team. Maintain and improve on the pricing model to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred MBA
  • Four (4) years or more Work experience required
  • Two (2) years or more Ryder experience preferred
  • Technical proficiency in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Controls
  • Proficiency with computer applications, both mainframe and sophisticated PC spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of Logistics

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$100,000

Maximum Pay Range:

$120,000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
