Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Presales Solutions Architects, ensuring performance goals and delivery expectations are met.
- Drive consistent delivery of high-quality technical project scopes, including migrations, cloud native design, and modernization efforts.
- Provide guidance and oversight on discovery/architecture review, solution design, and engagement modeling, leveraging Mission and AWS best-practices.
- Champion successful project outcomes by guiding your team through efficient customer onboarding, delivery handoffs, and sustained engagement support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success to ensure the best customer experience.
- Support sales opportunities by assigning appropriate team members and managing required skillsets.
- Affect high conversion rates of Assess & POCs to long-term engagements
- Review and validate estimates for project scope, timelines, and pricing to ensure consistency, feasibility, and alignment with customer expectations and delivery capabilities.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience managing or leading technical consulting teams in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing talent and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, serverless, microservices, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud cost modeling, architectural design principles, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous customer engagements.
- Strong communication skills, especially in executive-facing discussions and project escalations.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification (required within 90 days of employment)
