Your New Role...
Marketing Services Post provides post-production finishing services for theatrical television spots and all other AV materials as requested by internal clients, including, but not limited to Worldwide Theatrical Marketing. Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks a driven Manager, Post Technician for Marketing Services Post. The position supports the day-to-day engineering and IT operations of the department as required by management.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Oversee the basic to intermediate maintenance and support of all hardware and software. Support data management and perform all routine data archiving and back ups. Supports the wiring, system design/integration, cable management, documentation and labeling as required. Support the fiber and network infrastructure for administrative and production staff. Troubleshoot priority IT issues for administrative and production staff. Communicates needs and escalates issues to the Post Technician Director and SVP Marketing Services Post as needed. Support the Director, Post Technician with the management and maintenance of all new and used equipment inventory. Liaise with Technology Solutions, Motion Picture Imaging, Studio Facilities, Content Protection, Information Security, WB Security, Technical Operations, EIS and other divisions to stay informed on studio infrastructure initiatives and best practices. Work with the Director, Post Technician with the installation of capital equipment. Assist the team with all necessary support contracts for department hardware and software. Collaborate with Warner Bros. Finance/Accounting to help track capital, hardware and software expenses. Perform all necessary engineering tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience...
6-10 years of engineering experience in the entertainment industry required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Information Technology degree or certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Intermediate experience with PC, Mac and Linux operating systems, as well as Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems.
Solid understanding of film, video, and audio formats, as well as TV and online spot finishing for theatrical advertising.
Some knowledge of Autodesk Flame, Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid, Apple Final Cut Pro and Compressor, and ProTools required.
Must have a passion for technology and IT network infrastructure.
Must be aware of latest industry trends and issues with information security.
Must be able to manage and supervise several projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation and English usage required.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with WB management, staff, vendors and other outside business contacts.
Must have knowledge of systems administration across all operating systems.
Must be able to perform assignments thoroughly and as quickly as possible.
Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
Must have the ability understand written and oral instructions.
Must have the ability to organize and schedule work efficiently with little supervision.
Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
Must be able to adapt schedule to accommodate the real-time demands of the department.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
Must be able to manage projects effectively.
Must be able to give clear direction.
Some travel may be required.

Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $73,499.00 - $136,498.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
