What you'll do:
- Partner with the Pharmacist In Charge in overseeing and directing a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns
- Uphold operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
- Perform all related duties and assignments as required for an ecommerce pharmacy
- Focus on customer satisfaction, ensure Chewy provides superior service using standard methodologies and prompt engagement
- Perform personnel management including but not limited to performance management, training and coaching
- Manage daily workflow and adjust work force based on review of workload
- Review and approve pharmacist time off requests
- Review pharmacist attendance daily and complete appropriate coding on timecards
- Work closely with new hires to help train and onboard, as needed
- Review workflow in all areas of pharmacy and address quality improvement opportunities with work force as well as leadership
- Review weekly labor forecast and proactively ensure that staffing levels are adequate; schedule VOT or VTO as needed to properly cover business while also controlling cost
- Develop daily/weekly reports regarding the status of business and disseminate that information to the necessary parties
- Partner with PIC to drive continuous improvement efforts and lead implementation across shifts
What you'll need:
- Current Texas pharmacist license
- Willing to gain any additional license, as required
- Strong customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a team in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Have in-depth understanding of Staff Pharmacist job duties
