In this role, you’ll blend program management, process optimization, and change enablement to deliver scalable, employee-centered solutions.

As a core member of the Talent Operations team, you’ll own the design and delivery of cyclical programs, ensure operational excellence, and drive cross-functional alignment with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, IT, Legal, Finance, and business leaders. You’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure our people programs run seamlessly and evolve alongside our business.

About the role
  • Program Management & Delivery: Lead the design, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of People programs (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews).
  • Process Optimization & Documentation: Streamline and standardize People processes for clarity, compliance, and efficiency. Partner with HR Tech to identify opportunities for automation and systems integration. Build and maintain clear process playbooks, training guides, and resources.
  • Data & Insights: Measure success and ROI of programs. Track key metrics (e.g., program participation, outcomes) and report progress to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with multiple stakeholders across the company, adapting your approach accordingly. Proactively share critical program information with key decision makers, influencing positive outcomes and fostering alignment.
  • Change Management & Communications: Build communications strategies to launch and embed new programs and processes. Deliver training, guides, and FAQs to ensure adoption and clarity. Gather feedback loops from employees and managers to iterate on program design.
Who you are
  • 6+ years of proven program/project management experience in HR with a demonstrated track record of initiating, leading & managing complex programs inclusive of communication and change management plans.
  • Strong project/program management skills—able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep knowledge of core HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, performance, compliance, etc.).
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, Greenhouse, ChartHop, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to simplify complexity and drive alignment.
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using data to measure effectiveness and guide decision-making.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, processes, and changing business priorities with agility.

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $135,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

  • A $500 home office allowance
  • A connected virtual first culture with a highly engaged distributed workforce
  • 5% 401k match, FSA, company paid health, dental, vision plan options for employees and dependents

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
