UTA seeks an experienced Manager, People Data - Reporting & Analytics to join our dynamic People team. In this role, you will leverage both HR operations expertise and Workday technical knowledge to design process flows that can scale long-term. You will own data management end-to-end, from employee life cycle transactions to reporting, ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable insights that enable data-informed decision-making across the organization.
The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Lead, manage, and mentor the People Data team, setting clear expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Drive a culture of accountability, operational rigor, and service orientation, with clear ownership and follow‑through
Provide day‑to‑day direction and prioritization to ensure work is executed consistently and sustainably
Own the execution and quality of employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job & compensation changes and offboarding in Workday
Establish clear standards for data sharing and automate data delivery to stakeholders
Monitor operational data health, including error trends, and proactively address issues
Design and enhance data governance and auditing frameworks, including automated data audits and systemic guardrails
Develop test strategy and lead user acceptability testing for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements
Partner closely with stakeholders across People, Technology, Legal, Finance, and business leadership to continuously improve processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability
Participate in and/or project manage cross-People Team initiatives and programs
What You Will Need
7+ years of HR experience including 2+ years leading a team with clear accountability for operational outcomes
4+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday EIB data loads, mass launches, document distributions, custom advanced report writing (e.g. Matrix,
Ability to clearly articulate process flows and system dependencies
Proven track record designing Workday business processes to automate process flows
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field strongly preferred
Ability to explain complex/technical issues effectively; strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills — able to influence and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Asana
