We are looking for a Director of Marketing & Partnerships
Target total compensation ranges from $209,000 - $300,000, including a fixed annual salary of $170,000 - $182,000 an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.
Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
As the Director of Partnerships & Marketing at Aftersell, you will be a strategic leader responsible for growing our brand, scaling our partner ecosystem, and driving high-impact marketing initiatives. You will develop and execute marketing strategies, lead co-marketing efforts with technology partners, and champion the Aftersell brand across channels and communities. You'll collaborate closely with product, sales, and success teams to align on messaging, go-to-market execution, and growth strategy. We will compensate you well, invest deeply in your learning and development, and do everything we can to make sure this is the single best work experience of your life.
About the role:
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to drive brand awareness, product adoption, and revenue growth across various channels.
- Partnership Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with eCommerce and SaaS companies, driving co-marketing initiatives to expand reach.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with product and integration teams to support technical partner enablement and go-to-market efforts.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign and partnership performance, providing actionable insights to continuously optimize strategies based on data and ROI.
- Team Leadership & Industry Engagement: Lead and mentor a team of marketing and partnerships professionals while staying updated on eCommerce trends and representing Aftersell at industry events.
Requirements
About you:
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, or growth roles—ideally in SaaS or eCommerce.
- Proven ability to build and scale successful partnerships.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, campaign planning, and the DTC and Shopify ecosystem
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like HubSpot, or similar.
- A natural leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the Shopify ecosystem or with partner-led growth strategies.
- A network of eCommerce or SaaS tech partners.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Jasper ai, Chat GPT Perplexity) and their marketing applications.
