Resource Innovations is seeking a Manager of Partner & Stakeholder Relationships to join our market transformation team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team implementing the engagement and communication strategy across channels and platforms for California’s market transformation program. CalMTA is focused on developing initiatives that accelerate market adoption of emerging and underutilized energy efficiency technologies, services, and practices resulting in significant environmental and social benefits.

This California-based position plays a critical role in the development and coordination of relationships across a broad set of stakeholders and supports outreach and marketing for market transformation idea development and eventual implementation. To be effective in this role, you must be a systems thinker who can understand and connect CalMTA’s work to other efforts in action in California’s robust efficiency landscape. You will be able to collaboratively and effectively engage with internal teams as well as external parties. Experience in energy efficiency and knowledge of utility programs and trade ally networks is also important.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops key strategies and activities for stakeholder engagement and is responsible for on-track implementation
  • Identifies, cultivates, maintains, and tracks strong and persistent stakeholder relationships; supports similar efforts among leadership team, as needed
  • Ensures awareness of CalMTA among energy efficiency industry groups and key audiences
  • Facilitates information sharing between CalMTA and partners on MTI development and deployment
  • Works collaboratively to develop updates and materials for partners and stakeholders
  • Manages regular collaboration meetings with non-CalMTA efficiency program and implementer contacts including confirmation of agendas and support for staff on delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Located or willing to relocate to California within 30 days of acceptance.
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in marketing, communications and/or stakeholder engagement
  • A bachelor’s degree in general business or marketing, communication, journalism or similar field; experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience and understanding of energy efficiency industry. Knowledge of market transformation is preferred.
  • Strong experience in software platforms such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, Constant Contact, Asana, analytics and other platforms
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong writing and capability of sharing complicated concepts
  • High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $115,000-$150,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
