The Manager, Media Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping integrated media programs that drive engagement, performance, and growth for our clients. This position bridges hands-on strategy development and client leadership, balancing analytical rigor with creative thinking.

The ideal candidate has experience connecting audience insights, channel planning, and business outcomes — someone who thrives in translating big ideas into actionable strategies. This role will collaborate closely with Media Activation, Analytics, Client Services, and Experience Design teams to ensure that every recommendation drives measurable value across the customer journey.

The role goes for 5 weeks - 10 HPW for the first 3 weeks, and then 20 HPW for the final 2 weeks.

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop Strategic Media Programs
  • Develop and manage integrated media strategies across digital channels to meet client KPIs and business goals.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations and media frameworks that connect brand objectives with measurable outcomes.
  • Support senior leadership in planning and overseeing program growth, while driving innovation across client portfolios.
  • Client Partnership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a key media strategy contact for assigned clients, leading day-to-day strategic conversations and presenting recommendations confidently.
  • Partner with clients to identify business and marketing goals, proactively proposing new opportunities to drive growth and maturity.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, optimization, and performance delivery.
  • Cross-Functional & Team Leadership
  • Partner with Media Activation teams to ensure strategies are executed effectively and align with best practices.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Experience Design, and Creative teams to deliver holistic marketing solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior strategists, contributing to team development and fostering best-practice adoption.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Identify and champion emerging media opportunities, tools, and data applications to enhance client programs.
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership and new business efforts through research, insights, and strategy development.
  • Stay current with digital trends, sharing relevant learnings to elevate internal capabilities and client outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in media strategy, planning, or digital marketing within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems, including paid social, search, programmatic, video, and display.
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into strategic narratives and actionable media recommendations.
  • Experience managing client relationships and presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.) and understanding of audience data strategies.
  • Experience mentoring or leading team members.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
