  • Create and maintain Goodwin-specific user guides, quick-reference cards, video tutorials, intranet pages, and knowledge-base articles to support self-service adoption.

  • Partner with practice groups, and K&I Team to understand attorney workflows and practice needs, tailor trainings, design campaigns, and engage champions to maximize technology adoption.

  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze user feedback and usage data to identify adoption blockers, feature requests, and training gaps; collaborate with K&I leadership to prioritize improvements and roadmap items.

  • Measure and report on adoption metrics, training effectiveness, user satisfaction, and service-level performance; iterate on programs based on results.

  • Participate in assessments, pilots and proof of concept programs of new technology, including assisting in gathering requirements, organizing pilot testers, participating in testing, and assessing the instructional materials and vendor support of new products.

  • Support onboarding of new practice applications and vendor rollouts (communications, training, awareness campaigns).

  • Partner with vendors for training/content coordination and product knowledge transfer.

  • Stay current on legal technology and industry trends to keep the firm at the forefront of responsible technology use.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree.

  • 3-7 years of experience in technology enablement, training, user engagement, or a related role.

  • Experience in a law firm, legal operations, or professional services environment strongly preferred.

  • Experience in administering various legal technology solutions preferred; experience with Legora, Copilot, Chat GPT, Draftwise, Kira, Litera Transact, Jigsaw, or similar applications preferred.

  • Skills and experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Teams, Box, iManage, Tableau (or QlikView, Microsoft Power BI) and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience or strong familiarity with generative AI tools, their application in legal workflows, and related ethical/usage considerations preferred.

  • Proven success designing and delivering technical training for attorneys and staff.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new applications.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and written-communication skills; comfortable delivering training to attorneys and senior staff.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, and ability to influence across teams and practice groups and communicate effectively with all levels of the firm in a professional manner.

  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

  • Ability to effectively manage work to high quality standards, with a meticulous eye for detail.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
