We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Learning & Development (Clinical Operations) to lead the design, development, and delivery of impactful training programs for our clinical teams. In this critical role, you will empower our care navigation and employer services staff with the essential knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional, high-quality care.

You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and service excellence, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, refine instructional materials, and rigorously evaluate program effectiveness. This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Operations & Strategy. While we operate on a hybrid model, there is a strong preference for candidates located in the New York City area.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Curriculum Development: Partner with Operations Enablement and Clinical Operations leaders to design and develop comprehensive learning curricula.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Design and oversee our new hire onboarding program, ensuring every team member is set up for success within their crucial first 90 days.
  • Continuous Learning Innovation: Design and oversee our continuous learning program, ensuring our teams consistently stay current with the latest best practices, regulatory changes, and clinical advancements required for effective performance.
  • Engaging Content Creation: Develop diverse content that caters to various learning styles, expertly balancing synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods.
  • Operational Enablement: Support the creation of department policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal communications.
  • Knowledge Management: Take full ownership of our central knowledge base. This means not just maintaining it, but actively curating, organizing, and optimizing content to ensure team members have immediate access to the accurate and vital information needed for their daily work.
  • Identify & Implement Improvements: Proactively identify ongoing and emerging gaps that would benefit from targeted training and quality improvement initiatives, promoting the adoption of best clinical practices.
  • Impact Measurement: Track key metrics to measure the success of onboarding and contribute to solutions that drive greater efficiency for team processes and workloads.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or clinical operations leadership
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for frontline support teams
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable training plans
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail

The target base salary range for this position is $97,325 - $114,500, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
