SALARY: $80,000 - $95,000, bonus eligible

LOCATION:  Hybrid – Based out of Golden Road Los Angeles Brewpub. Responsible for all Elysian, Golden Road and Four Peaks off premise chain performance in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

JOB SUMMARY:   The Craft West Key Account Manager (KAM) will be the ultimate brand ambassador for Elysian, Golden Road, and Four Peaks brands for all off premise chain performance in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. Their primary responsibility is partnering with the national retail sales team, regional retail team, local commercial team, and key buyers to drive volume, revenue, share, ads, and execution. The Craft West Key Account Manager (KAM) must be critically aware of industry best practices, Circana, regional competition, and craft beer strategies. The position works very closely with Anheuser Busch wholesaler partners and local commercial teams.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build working relationships with local wholesaler KAMs for the purpose of communicating, executing, and bringing more focus to organizational programs. 

  • Provides total account management; sell-in corporate programs and brand promotions.  

  • Utilizes data to analyze organizational performance in key accounts and identify opportunities for growth. 

  • Coordinates with VP of Marketing and Sales Directors to develop chain-specific marketing and advertising plans.  

  • Build sales pitches/plans and present them to heavily influential decision makers. 

  • Manage spending budget and collaborate with key stakeholders on investments. 

  • Provides forecast to operations teams to ensure dependable supply of product.  

  • Plans with wholesalers to order POCM during buying windows (6 times per year).

  • Inspires wholesalers to close out all chain commitments (Items Not Brought In). 

  • Organizes retailer sponsorship events. 

  • Participates in the execution through ride withs, events and key buyer meetings. 

  • Adheres to federal and state alcoholic beverage laws. 

  • Super passionate about the beer industry and loves to SELL and BUILD relationships.  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (emphasis in Business, Sales, and/or Marketing is strongly desired).

  • Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly Category Management and information-based selling).

  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet).

  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations.

  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred.

  • Effective communication/presenting, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills.

  • Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer products industries.

  • Understanding of wholesaler network/processes.

  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment.
