Essential job functions:
- Lead the Assortment Optimization team in providing detailed analysis and assortment recommendations to each category team across ADUSA through the Assortment Optimization Tool, working in concert with the Aligned Cycle Assortment Review Calendar; provide strategic insights to business-relevant questions using the same data driven approach based on category role and desired KPIs for each assortment review (1,500+ reviews across ADUSA annually).
- Lead the optimization of assortment in wareroom and Ecommerce Fulfillment Centers leveraging software that drives efficiency in Ecommerce order fulfillment.
- Manage the collection of Fair Share funding for the Single Source Program for all ADUSA Brands. In partnership with brand finance teams, set annual income and spending targets based on labor and project proposals, manage financial projections and payments ($100,000,000+ annually) to single source partner, and deliver regular reporting / updates to Brand Finance & Merchandising leaders, Assortment Services leaders.
- Manage the prioritization and implementation of new insight tools that sharpen the analytical and execution efforts of Brand and Assortment Services team members, while simultaneously addressing feedback related to current state and engaging / developing relationships with relevant vendor partners and solutions providers in the spirit of continuous improvement and opportunity mining.
- Lead and manage the delivery & implementation of relevant technical updates of systems and processes associated with space management in Brick & Mortar and E-Commerce facilities, leveraging project management best practices and considering all elements of the user experience.
- Drive collaboration between the Brand Merchandising teams and Assortment Services leads to ensure resources are allocated to test new products, concepts, and processes, efficiently and effectively.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous creation of guidelines for macro and micro space management, ensuring they deliver against operational, strategic, and legal goals as defined by the Brand and by Assortment Services.
- Serve as the financial liaison between the single source partner and Brand finance teams.
- Lead team in strategic planning for training and development opportunities across Assortment Services.
- Model a delivery mindset as it relates to financial targets, process, and development goals; taking concrete steps to deliver on targets.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in Retail, Business, or Technology related roles required; 4+ years related specifically to advancing technology and business systems.
- 5+ Years demonstrated effectiveness leading people/teams
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office usage
- History of driving the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and performance.
- Ability to create a strong team, engaging in a consultative and collaborative culture.
- Demonstrated history of delivering on impacts and results on a wide range of responsibilities.
