As a Manager, Pricing Operations & Services at the RealReal, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Pricing team (tools, process, training) and managing TRR’s Price Request services. Managers are responsible for analyzing, identifying and communicating opportunities and providing risk-mitigation strategies. Emphasis in this role will be on providing a positive consignor experience and promoting pricing accuracy and consistency while balancing a quick turn-around time. Strong communication and analytical skills as well as relationship building are key for success in this role. This person will report to the Senior Director of Pricing.

What You Get To Do Every DayAnalyze and report out on monthly metrics, KPIs, and provide summarized insights and actions to leadership; proactively monitor and surface trends, issues or risks weekly
Secure supply by enabling an express-lane service for Price Request that can provide accurate, consistent pricing for consignors while improving our SLA
Partner closely with the Pricing Team to maintain pricing consistency and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks and reduce consignor contacts and payouts
Evaluate and create processes and tools in support of continuous improvement efforts
Spearhead internal training sessions for cross-functional teams
Develop & manage a team - provide feedback, training, and coaching to further personal and career growth; effectively manage scheduling and leave
Be a positive role model for the team by fostering strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners (Pricing, Experts, Auth, etc)

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
Passionate about the luxury retail space and consignment business model
Experience in leading and developing direct reports
Strong analytical & quantitative skills with a track record of creative problem solving
5+ years of proven success in merchandise planning, financial planning, strategy or business analytics
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Team player able to work effectively and collaboratively across all departments to meet goals

Must have a passion for creative problem solving and insatiable curiosity
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with G Suite & Looker a plus

Build and implement strategies in partnership with Merchandising, Planning, Expert/LCO & Vendor partners to maximize ASP and sell-thru
Liaise closely with our Luxury Consignment Office (LCO) expert team to implement strategies to drive pricing accuracy and consistency; be a leading proponent for tool development
Partner with Data Science team as the subject matter expert to develop and steer pricing algorithms; perform proactive analysis to identify opportunities for the model and direct the team’s QC efforts
Be a positive role model for the team by fostering strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners (Merch, Planning, Vendor, Ops, etc)
Promote growth & development for direct report(s) through coaching, training & ongoing performance management
Perform ad hoc analysis and recommend courses of action to drive sales, improve efficiency and protect the consignor experience
Work closely with internal departments and provide answers to pricing escalations in a timely and professional manner using thorough research, analytics, and product knowledge
Minimum Requirements:
6+ years of proven success in merchandising, merchandise planning, strategy or business analytic
3+ years of proven success managing direct reports in a high growth environment where the only constant is change
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with G Suite & Looker a plus
Strong analytical & problem solving skills. Ability to relay verbal and written information concisely & effectively
Agile critical thinker, who is comfortable and confident making data driven recommendations amidst ambiguity
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
