TITLE: Manager, GTM Sales Operations
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations manager you will be a key business partner to the GTM Organization, particularly Software Sales. You will be a thought leader, collaborating with Sales leadership to design and manage the GTM tech stack and tooling strategy, incorporate advancements in AI into that strategy, and liaise with the IT function to prioritize and implement tool changes and improvements. You will also be responsible for the Sales Ops service desk, developing a repeatable playbook along with SLA’s to manage monthly processes around regular reporting, commissions, and data requirements along with ad-hoc requests.
- Manages the strategy and roadmap for the GTM tech stack and tooling
- Works with Sales Ops, Sales, Marketing and IT leadership to design strategy for GTM tech stack, incorporating existing CRM, quoting, customer engagement, and marketing tools and considering gaps that require new solutions or extensions of existing solutions
- Determines investment required to implement GTM tech stack roadmap and works with finance, Sales, and IT leadership to develop business cases supporting incremental investment where appropriate
- Project manages and undertakes evaluations of solutions to address needs identified in GTM tech stack roadmap
- Develops improvement plans for existing tools (as part of roadmap), including Salesforce.com (SFDC), and interfaces with IT to determine investment, priority and implementation timing
- Evaluates how AI tools and agentic technology can contribute to the roadmap and improve efficiency and sales competency. Works with Duck Creek internal AI team to determine how best to implement or incorporate into existing tooling
- Collaborates with IT to develop and maintain Sales Ops & IT RACI to optimize interaction between the two functions
- Works with Sales Enablement to build change management approaches for new/updated tooling and drive adoption
- Supports GTM data integrity
- Keeps SFDC and data warehouse records clean, deduped, and trustworthy
- Manages SFDC opportunity and account layouts to optimize Sales Director time and capture competitive intelligence
- Collaborates with IT to integrate data between GTM software and tools to drive data visibility, actionable insight, and reporting
- Establishes and runs Sales Ops service desk function
- Line manager to one Operations Analyst, based in India, who is responsible for executing on monthly commission process, regular report runs, and ad-hoc data requests. Coaches and mentors analyst to develop skills and deliver on job responsibilities and undertakes regular line management and performance evaluation activities
- Designs and maintains service desk vs rest of sales ops RACI
- Builds service desk playbook which creates repeatable and clearly outlined processes for recurring data/reporting requirements, administrative updates, and commission accrual/payment
- Builds quoting tool competency to provide key redundancy to commercial ops team
- Participates in multi-year cross-functional program to replace existing quoting tool
- Along with Commercial Ops (primary end users of quoting tool), represents Sales Ops in transformation program to replace CPQ with go-forward quoting solution
- Works with project management office to conduct a software evaluation exercise to select the best fit replacement for CPQ
- Collaborates with relevant functions to assess existing business processes, ensuring that foundational processes are in place (or optimized) ahead of replacement tool implementation
- Provides quoting tool support to Commercial Ops to balance bandwidth requirements on replacement project
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
REQUIRED:
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum four years in Sales/GTM Operations or related roles
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com, CPQ, Salesloft, Demandbase and related Sales enablement tools
- Strong working knowledge of recent developments in AI, Agentic AI, and similar technology as it relates to go-to-market motions
- Experience collaborating across functions to drive transformation initiatives and cross-functional alignment
- Experience successfully designing and implementing new operational processes and optimizing existing processes
- Experience engaging with stakeholders at senior levels
PREFERRED:
- Project management experience
- Experience implementing and improving salesforce.com instances
- Experience in compensation plan design and administration

Duck Creek Technologies supports a flexible-first work environment and has employees throughout the United States. Based on a fair and equitable compensation philosophy, we have five (5) United States pay markets based on regional validated survey market data. The expected salary range for this position is between $97,300 and $157,000. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The final compensation may vary due to the above listed factors and be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
