About the role

Pirros is seeking a Manager of Growth & Demand Generation to design, scale, and innovate our top-of-funnel engine. This role is equal parts performance marketer, growth experimenter, and community builder. You’ll manage proven demand gen channels with discipline while also testing bold ideas that could redefine how Pirros captures and scales demand. You’ll partner with our paid marketing agency to drive a measurable pipeline, but you’ll expand beyond ads—building community-led growth initiatives and activating influencers in the AEC industry to amplify top-of-funnel needs.

What You’ll Own:

Performance Marketing & Demand Capture

  • Manage and optimize paid acquisition channels (search, social, retargeting) with our agency to maximize ROI and lead quality.

  • Build full-funnel campaigns that connect awareness, engagement, and conversion—tying spend directly to pipeline and revenue.

  • Track and report on core metrics (CPL, CAC, conversion, pipeline contribution), ensuring clarity on what drives growth.

Community & Industry-Led Growth

  • Capture demand by engaging directly with the AEC industry through associations, events, and partnerships.

  • Build community-led programs that create organic demand.

  • Partner with influencers, “BIMfluencers,” and thought leaders in the architecture and engineering space to expand Pirros’ reach and credibility.

Growth Innovation & Experimentation

  • Treat demand gen as a growth lab—testing unconventional channels, motions, and creative campaigns to discover scalable plays beyond LinkedIn, Google Search and Meta.

  • Experiment with emerging platforms, co-marketing with partners, and new creative mechanisms, like video, to stand out in the market.

  • Balance fast experimentation with disciplined measurement—knowing when to cut, when to double down, and how to scale.

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Partner with Sales to ensure lead quality, scoring, and handoffs are seamless.

  • Work closely with Marketing to align messaging and content with campaign strategy.

  • Contribute to positioning Pirros as the category-defining system of record for design content in AEC.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.

  • Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline through both paid channels and demand capture strategies.

  • Skilled at managing agencies, but also eager to roll up your sleeves and run campaigns directly.

  • Experienced in building community-led growth initiatives and activating industry influencers to capture demand.

  • Analytical and creative—you balance data-driven rigor with the curiosity to test new approaches.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you’re excited to own growth end-to-end and build the playbook for what scales

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
