We’re looking for a builder and a bar-raiser to lead Sendbird’s sales development efforts worldwide. This is more than managing a team—it’s about architecting a new way of engaging customers, fueled by AI, and driven by relentless curiosity, grit, and velocity.

What you will do
  • Design and execute a global strategy for outbound prospecting and inbound conversion that consistently creates pipeline and drives revenue.
  • Stand up and scale an AI-augmented SDR engine, blending human creativity with machine efficiency to unlock higher velocity and better outcomes.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities that convert into revenue at a repeatable and predictable rate.
  • Develop and grow talent, equipping your team with the skills, mindset, and grit to achieve their career aspirations while hitting ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrate adaptability across markets, applying curiosity and experimentation to find what works region by region.
  • Lead with urgency and clarity, ensuring your dispersed global team is aligned, accountable, and motivated.

What you bring to the table

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of SDRs, with ownership of SQL and pipeline targets.
  • Demonstrated success implementing AI in the SDR motion (pilot → scaled program) with measurable lift in meetings booked and cost per meeting.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must have global experience, EMEA and APAC a plus.

Compensation:

Our US benefits include (but are not limited to)

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.  To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.   A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 OTE.  This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market.  We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
