Job Summary:

We are seeking a FP&A Manager to lead our FP&A team. In this role you will be supporting the company’s growth and profitability by overseeing our forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, while also contributing to key strategic initiatives. You will analyze financial and operational data to drive insights and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. This role will be highly impactful with opportunities to work directly with senior leadership and expand responsibilities as the company grows.

In order to be eligible for this position applicants must be based in one of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

What you will do:

  • Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the company
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to help drive operational outcomes
  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives
  • Assist in producing and delivering monthly/quarterly reporting for senior leadership and the board of directors, including quarterly board materials
  • Support the evaluation and execution of strategic initiatives, including fundraising and growth opportunities
  • Help identify and execute process and systems improvements to support company growth 
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related role with exposure to SaaS or tech-enabled business models; 2+ years of management/leadership experience 
  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models
  • Willingness to embrace ambiguity and unstructured situations
  • Commercial mindset with an ability to connect financial metrics to business outcomes
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace and FP&A/BI tools
  • Experience in healthcare or health-tech is a plus
