By joining our rapidly growing Financial Due Diligence Analytics practice, you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, analytical rigor and deep functional knowledge to deliver tailored, data-driven solutions that help private equity and corporate clients navigate complex transactions—solving today’s challenges while setting the foundation for lasting value creation. What You'll Do:
- Support a wide range of FDD Analytics engagements spanning buy-side due diligence, sell-side due diligence, quality of earnings assessments, net working capital analyses, and lender advisory services.
- Contribute knowledge and best practices related to critical financial processes such as EBITDA normalization, revenue recognition analysis, working capital peg negotiations, and cash flow evaluation across complex, multi-industry target companies.
- Provide data-driven insights to clients, translating analytical findings from large and disparate datasets into clear, decision-ready conclusions that address transaction risks and value opportunities.
- Construct and maintain financial data models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Snowflake, ensuring outputs are reconciled to core financial statements and operating metrics of target companies.
- Oversee project administration activities, encompassing project setup, planning, budgeting, account management, and billing, ensuring smooth project completion.
- Proactively monitor M&A market trends, evolving analytics technologies, and sector-specific developments, and articulate their potential impact to clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
- Mentor team members through coaching, regular ongoing feedback, annual performance reviews, and actively support project teams in resolving complex issues.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who understands client business needs, identifies opportunities for new business, and delivers high-quality service.
- Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent for the FDD Analytics pod.
What You'll Bring:
- 6+ years of prior experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, public accounting, or a related professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality of earnings methodologies, working capital analyses, and financial statement evaluation in an M&A context.
- Demonstrated experience working with private equity and corporate clients to assess target company financial performance and support deal decision-making.
- Prior experience using one or more of the following tools: Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable analytics platforms.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%; travel varies based on client preferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, or CFA certification preferred.
