The Manager, Finance Business partner will help connect our strategy to our financial objectives by supporting a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives while managing and executing the day-to-day business reporting and planning requirements.
Role: • Consolidate and present Technology financials to senior finance management including coordinating and analyzing budget, forecast, plans, FTEs and cost allocations
• Provide divisional financial reporting, identify financial risks & opportunities, and provide guidance to achieve financial targets for assigned division(s)
• Support the financial close process through the analysis of P&L variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers, and initiatives
• Support monthly and quarterly internal and corporate reporting deliverables including operating reviews
• Identify, analyze, and communicate trends and issues affecting the business, including addressing ad hoc financial queries or analysis, and assist to formulate and drive mitigation plans
• Coordinate and lead Technology annual budget processes, including assignment of equitable divisional efficiency targets
• Negotiate, alongside business and sourcing, renewals or new contractual spend for 3rd party services or technology solutions
• Oversee capital planning for the Technology initiatives including capital outlay estimation, prioritization of projects, pressure testing assumptions for business cases on key initiatives and their project plans and start dates
• Working closely with Controllers on accounting schedules relating to prepaid and capital asset setup, with corresponding P&L assessment for amortization and depreciation impacts; as well as consumption based recharges for variable expenses like public cloud and token based AI toing
• Support and/or lead special projects and ad-hoc reporting as applicable All
About You: • Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environment
• Experience building presentations with executive messaging is preferred
• Must be comfortable working with ambiguous processes in a fluid environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact, communicate, influence and navigate effectively with executive management
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities and assignments concurrently
• Background in IT financial management and accounting considered beneficial
• Strong relationship management and networking skills
• Must be highly proficient using MS suite of products Excel/Office/PowerPoint and enterprise ERP/Planning systems
• Proficiency using Power BI, Power Automate, or low code tools a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a financial analysis role
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) or professional certification (CMA, CPA) a plus
