About Ramp

At Ramp, we’re rethinking how modern finance teams function in the age of AI. We believe AI isn’t just the next big wave. It’s the new foundation for how business gets done. We’re investing in that future — and in the people bold enough to build it.

Ramp is a financial operations platform designed to save companies time and money. Our all-in-one solution combines payments, corporate cards, vendor management, procurement, travel booking, and automated bookkeeping with built-in intelligence to maximize the impact of every dollar and hour spent. But we’re not just building features powered by AI. We’re building a platform where agents can chase receipts, close books, flag risks, and surface insights. This enables teams to reclaim their time and reinvest in what matters.

More than 40,000 businesses, from family-owned farms to space startups, have saved $10B and 27.5M hours with Ramp. Founded in 2019, Ramp powers the fastest-growing corporate card and bill payment platform in America, and enables over $80 billion in purchases each year.

Ramp’s investors include Thrive Capital, Sands Capital, General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Greylock, and Redpoint, among others, in addition to 100+ angel investors who have been founders or executives of leading companies.

Ramp has been named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list and LinkedIn’s Top U.S. Startups for more than 3 years, as well as the Forbes Cloud 100, CNBC Disruptor 50, and TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Companies.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager who will both lead a team and play a pivotal role in shaping Ramp’s event strategy at a time of rapid growth and innovation. In this hybrid role, 40% focused on high-impact field marketing events and 60% on engaging webinars and virtual experiences, you’ll be at the forefront of building brand presence and driving demand. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in FinTech and demand generation, with the creativity to craft events that convert interest into measurable pipeline. As AI transforms the financial landscape, your ability to weave AI insights into our content and campaigns will help position Ramp as the clear thought leader in the space. This is an opportunity to guide the Field Marketing team’s strategy and own programs that directly influence revenue while elevating Ramp’s voice in key markets.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute a calendar of high-impact field marketing events that build brand presence and deepen relationships with target accounts.

  • Design and run engaging webinars and virtual events that generate qualified leads and nurture prospects through the funnel.

  • Collaborate with sales, demand gen, and product teams to align event strategies with revenue goals and GTM priorities.

  • Integrate AI-driven insights and trends into event content to position Ramp as a leader in FinTech innovation.

  • Measure event performance, analyze ROI, and optimize programs for continuous improvement.

What You Need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field marketing, virtual events, or demand generation, ideally within FinTech or SaaS.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of team management experience.

  • Proven track record of planning and executing both in-person and virtual events that drive measurable pipeline impact.

  • Strong proficiency with marketing automation, webinar platforms, and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Zoom, Salesforce).

  • Experience integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into event content and marketing strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze event performance metrics and translate insights into actionable optimizations.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments with rapidly evolving go-to-market strategies.

  • Background in B2B enterprise marketing targeting financial services or adjacent industries.

  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools.

  • Knowledge of AI applications in marketing, finance, or customer engagement.

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)
  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

    • Partially covered for your dependents

    • One Medical annual membership

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)

  • WFH stipend to support your home office needs

  • Wellness stipend

  • Parental Leave

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)

  • Pet insurance

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
