Overview:Fiduciary Trust International is hiring a Manager, Fee Department who will be responsible for the end-to-end execution and governance of all fee-related operations across 15,000 accounts and 500 fee packages with over $200 million in fee collection. This includes oversight of fee setup, maintenance, calculation, collection, and control enforcement. The Manager leads a small team, ensuring operational accuracy, financial integrity, and risk mitigation, all in support of Fiduciary Trust's service commitments. Prior managerial experience is required.
The Manager oversees daily operations related to fee setup, maintenance, and closure, ensuring timely and accurate execution across multiple billing cycles. This includes managing a small team, ensuring service delivery aligns with the firm’s standards and KPIs. The Manager resolves operational issues, supports the front office, and enforces quality and control processes.
Key Responsibilities:Operational lead responsible for day-to-day execution of all fee activities.
Executes Fee Oversight Framework operationally; coordinates controls, escalates risks, delivers reporting, and manages team performance. This includes annual fee review with the front office.
Manages global fee operations and ensures accurate setup, modification, and closure of fees across all client accounts.
Works with the Franklin Templeton fee collection team on month end closing. Works with the Fiduciary Trust finance team on fee reporting and variance analysis.
Supervises the US-based Senior Analyst and India-based Supervisor (team of seven).
Serves as the operational lead for fee execution, supporting complex scenarios and client-specific needs.
Ensures team performance meets established KPIs, SLAs, and quality benchmarks.
Ensures compliance with exception policies and RCA protocols.
Acts as a point of escalation for fee discrepancies, exceptions, or errors.
Collaborates with the front office to ensure accurate billing based on customized client agreements.
Maintains and improves operational controls and documentation practices.
Assists with internal audits, compliance requests, and training programs.
5+ years' experience within the wealth management / financial services industry
Experience in financial operations and/or client billing with complex fee structures
Strong leadership skills and prior managerial experience required; experience managing cross-border teams preferred
Expertise in customized fee structures and control implementation
Accounting and Finance experience required
Demonstrated experience in quality control, risk mitigation, and tracking performance metrics (e.g., KPIs, SLAs)
Experience with SWP by SEI and/or Global Plus by FIS; experience with trust accounting systems preferred
Advanced analytical skills required
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages desired but not required
