The Manager, Events will lead the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events. This role is responsible for elevating the EQT brand through seamless event experiences that connect with key stakeholders — from employees and investors to industry peers and partners. This individual will collaborate closely with the Head of Communications, HR, and functional leaders across the company to deliver polished, engaging and strategically aligned events that reflect EQT’s mission, values and leadership in the energy sector.


The Manager, Events responsibilities include but are not limited to:


External Event Execution

  • Plan and manage EQT’s participation in major industry trade shows and conferences, including CERAWeek, Gastech and others.
  • Lead the end-to-end coordination of booths, branding, activations and on-site logistics.
  • Partner with the communications team to align messaging, speaking engagements and content with broader brand strategy.
  • Coordinate employee involvement including speaker prep, travel, itineraries and hospitality.
  • Act as point-of-contact for external vendors, conference organizers and exhibit partners.

Internal Event Planning

  • Own the planning and execution of signature internal events, including EQT’s annual all-employee “Evolution Day”, town halls, leadership offsites and employee engagement activations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Communications on event themes, scheduling, communications and logistics.
  • Ensure events align with company culture and strategic priorities, creating meaningful and memorable experiences for employees.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work with internal stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, align on messaging and ensure executive support and participation.
  • Create and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents and post-event debriefs.
  • Ensure all event materials and experiences reflect EQT’s brand standards and values.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience in event planning, coordination or production — preferably in a corporate, agency or trade show setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field required. 
  • Demonstrated success managing both internal and external events, with an emphasis on logistics, execution and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to stay calm and solution-focused in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Understanding of or exposure to the energy, natural gas or infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with vendor management, A/V coordination, booth/exhibit logistics, and travel planning.
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Cvent, Splash, or similar event/project management platforms.


Work Location:

This role will primarily work remote. However, travel to locations within our operating area is required on a monthly basis. International travel may be required in rare situations. 


Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
