ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril is seeking a Manager of Operations to join the Events team. The Events team takes lead on all major events at Anduril. These events can range from summer outings and holiday parties to VIP visits, employee engagement events, media happy hours and everything in between. This position will based in Costa Mesa and will be focused on building internal support systems for the Events team. The Operations branch is a new branch on the Events team and their goal will be to support our team on all operational work and infrastructure. This will range from budget tracking, event calendar management, event supply operations, to vendor management, event technology management, and event intake management.

From the moment they leave their house to the moment they arrive at the event, our goal is to make their experience immersive, easy flowing, and memorable. We do this by ensuring that the Anduril brand is at the heart of the experience by leveraging visuals, technology, and operational excellence. We are looking for someone to join our team to help implement and execute this vision through Anduril events/experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Build and implement operational systems for Events team to use to allow team team members to focus on strategy and execution of events.
  • Track budget for all events.
  • Manage the company-wide Events calendar and intake all event support requests.
  • Manage event supply restocking and shipping for all events.
  • Onboard all new vendors and ensure timely payment.
  • Manage event team technology such as Splash (for RSVP management) and Air Tables (event support intake form).
  • Develop policies for internal events and streamline process for tracking, auditing, and managing of all events.
  • Ensure appropriate Anduril branding is utilized in all mediums (menus, invitations, Zoom screens, directional signage, etc.).
  • Build out event resource sheets.
  • Be a resource for all Anduril employees when it comes to events or hosting visitors to our offices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Primary location will be in Costa Mesa office.
  • 5+ years experience in event planning, project management or other related fields.
  • Strong project managing skills and creative problem solving oriented.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in teams and autonomously.
  • Ability to visualize event space flow, guest experience, presenter experience, food presentation, appropriate sound levels, etc.
  • Strong ability to shift priorities quickly when needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and communication platforms like Slack preferred but not required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
US Salary Range
$98,000$130,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
