Over the past few years, Linear has grown organically to become an essential tool for many of the world’s best product teams. We’re now expanding our sales motion to bring Linear to even more companies at scale, helping larger teams experience the speed, craft, and simplicity that Linear offers.

We’re looking for an experienced enterprise sales leader to build and scale our upmarket motion. You’ll lead and mentor a team of AEs, establish and refine our enterprise sales playbooks, and directly engage with C-level stakeholders at some of the world’s most respected companies. This is a hands-on role for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to shape how the best product teams adopt Linear.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor the enterprise sales team, providing guidance on deal strategy, negotiation, and executive engagement while fostering collaboration across Sales, Success, and Support.

  • Build and enforce repeatable frameworks for opportunity qualification, forecasting accuracy, and close plans to drive consistent results.

  • Partner closely with Product by collecting and synthesizing structured feedback from strategic accounts to inform and shape enterprise product priorities.

  • Roll up your sleeves to drive key enterprise deals, including discovery, executive alignment, and commercial negotiations, ensuring successful long-term partnerships.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in enterprise sales leadership at a high-growth SaaS company, with a proven track record of building and scaling 0→1 enterprise sales motions.

  • Demonstrated success coaching AEs to exceed quota in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience building sales processes, playbooks, and forecasting frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with comfort presenting to and negotiating with C-level stakeholders.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and RevOps.
