This Manager position for WME Insights will be based out of Los Angeles and responsible for managing the analysts and senior analysts within WME Insights.  This team member will be supporting all facets of the WME Group business within North America.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, ability to create a narrative with data, and a creative problem solver who can develop impactful insights and measurement solutions based on a wide range of complex and sometimes ambiguous challenges.  You will also be expected to provide relevant data for RFP pitch decks to help win new business and present this as part of the pitching team to prospective clients.

Reporting to the Executive Director of WME Insights, this individual will be both a leader and a doer by actively shaping client deliverables and elevating our team’s messaging and output internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service WME, 160/90, IMG Licensing, and Pantheon across North America.

  • Provide management support to Analysts and Senior Analysts from proofing to ideation of projects.

  • Takes an active lead in the “day-to-day” projects that come through the funnel.

  • Engage in a diverse range of research and analytics projects across both general entertainment & sport, including consumer insights & trends, cultural trends, brand analysis, industry trends, and ability to measure the impact sponsorship & marketing campaigns.

  • Exhibits the ability to collaborate with key internal WME Group stakeholders, prospective and current clients to determine strategic approach for supporting their needs.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Passion for general entertainment and sports.

  • Knowledge of brands and rights holders from different sectors, and an ability to approach each unique strategic challenge they face.

  • Proficiency in secondary/syndicated research and analytics tools (i.e. consumer profiling, market intelligence, etc.)

·       Problem solver who enjoys innovating new solutions.

  • Strong interest in and understanding of the cultural forces and trends that impact consumer behavior.

  • Curiosity for AI usage and data modeling.

  • Strong analytical skills (must be able to distill clear, compelling conclusions and recommendations from complex data points).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (must be able to simplify complex topics, clearly articulate research, and persuasively engage C-suite audiences).

  • Good management skills (must be able to mentor, guide, and inspire team members).

·       Insatiable curiosity and a demonstrated ability to quickly master new research tools and techniques.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$75,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$100,000 annually
