By joining CrossVue you’ll be making a direct impact on our growing Workday practice, regularly taking part in:

  • Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Our consultants are hands-on involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, overseeing supplier enablement, and best practices  
  • Contributing beyond client delivery, including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement, and beyond
  • Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

The Manager of Employee Development is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and enriching work environment that fosters employee growth, engagement, and satisfaction. This role requires Workday expertise and creates talent development programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Manager of Employee Development, creates and delivers training programs to support employees in their roles and aligns with business objectives.

As a Manager of Employee Development, you’ll have the opportunity to:  

  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Identify training needs through assessments, feedback mechanisms, and performance evaluations.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training sessions, workshops, and resources to address identified learning gaps.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Utilize various learning methodologies and technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to nurture their skills and prepare them for advancement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with department managers to facilitate succession planning and talent pipelines.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship opportunities for employees to enhance their professional growth and career progression.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with department heads and business leaders to understand evolving business needs and tailor development programs accordingly.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to design and develop training materials, manuals, and resources.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative training methodologies to continuously improve training programs.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as directed by the Chief People Officer.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Multiple active Workday Certifications.
  • 1-2 years of Workday Implementation Experience.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, talent management, or related roles, with a focus on employee engagement and development.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) is a plus.

A Note on Travel:  We expect travel to be roughly 20-25% with travel primarily for in-person training activities.
