Forbes Vetted is seeking a Manager, eCommerce Partnerships to join the Forbes Vetted partnerships team. This role will be responsible for building, nurturing and growing our direct partnerships with retailers and networks under the guidance of the Director, eCommerce Partnerships. 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own account plans to unlock investments and drive client’s business key performance metrics
  • First point of contact for retail partners for paid opportunities and commission optimizations
    • Meet with and pitch new direct partnerships to retailers
    • Onboard new strategic retailers
    • Secure higher commission rates and optimal  deal terms
    • Negotiate contract terms and manage performance for our paid programs (known as our BrandSolutions suite)
  • Build, manage and maintain partnership development workflows and tracking 
  • Create proposals for new, outbound BrandSolutions and respond to RFPs from assigned book of business
  • Model out incremental revenue opportunities for commission-based proposals
  • Support the proposal process for large-scale paid programs and sponsored weeks across Forbes Vetted
  • Prospect and penetrate organizations to drive alignment and influence executives to execute against account plan
  • Communicate with an account manager on opportunities for strategic partnership execution and opportunities for editorial coverage. 
  • Create and present persuasive data-driven sales presentations with a focus on client retention and reinvestment.
  • Identify new and unique opportunities to bring to advertisers, such as new products, partnership management or workflows

The ideal candidate:

  •  2+ years of performance marketing experience and/or brand advertising experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • Track record of reaching and exceeding business targets
  • Experience with account management, sales or advertiser relations for a publisher 
  • Strong presentation and design skills in order to create beautiful pitches for our retailer partners
  • Knowledge of the affiliate industry
  • Ability to analyze affiliate data and create actionable insights
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or other CRM tools is a bonus
  • Highly-organized and a problem solver
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000
