Our Maxar International Government seeking a Sales Manager to help drive our growth with European Defense Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and System Integrators . In this role, you'll build and strengthen relationships not only with key defense and government clients across Europe, but also with their ecosystem partners.
You will be identifying programs which require geospatial products and solutions, including, but not limited to visual simulation, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Mission Planning & Rehearsal, Targeting, C4ISR. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex customer problems, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and delivering large transactions in which directly contribute to our mission success.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Sell geospatial intelligence products and solutions to defense OEMs and system integrators in Europe.
- Work closely with the Head of Europe on developing a strategy and a sales plan to build a robust pipeline.
- Utilize your existing network to identify opportunities in line with sales plan, as well as build and uphold relationships with senior executives across key accounts.
- Develop a clear understanding of customers' requirements, budgets and decision-making process and be able to articulate those into a plan which you will communicate to the organization.
- Build internal relationships and liaise with teams across Maxar to put together solutions and develop proposals.
- Coordinate lead generation campaigns with your sales peers and marketing.
- Represent Maxar at tradeshows and public facing engagements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-years track record of successfully selling to the European defense market.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience,
- Sales hunting attitude and passion about relationship building, complex problem solving and customer success.
- 3+ years of demonstrated ability of solution selling to OEMs and systems integrators.
- Experience capturing accurate forecast revenue and bookings with experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Knowledge of geospatial intelligence solutions (desirable).
- Strong oral and written communication in English. German language would be advantageous as a second language.
- Self-motivated and proactive, strong social skills and ability to present in both small and large settings.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Travel Required 25-50%.
