Job Description SummaryThe Manager of Data and Analytics is responsible for leading data-driven initiatives that provide actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions. This role involves managing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources to support product development, marketing, sales optimization, and overall business strategy. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Manager of Primary and Secondary Research and cross-functional teams to drive a culture of data-based decision-making across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data Strategy and Management: Develop and implement data analytics strategies, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and effective use across the organization. 

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Present findings in clear, actionable reports and visualizations. 

  • Advanced Analytics: Utilize advanced statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques to support strategic initiatives such as market forecasting, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager of Primary and Secondary Research, marketing, sales, and product development teams to align data analytics efforts with broader business objectives. 

  • Data Governance and Quality Control: Establish processes and best practices for data governance, ensuring data quality and consistency across different sources and platforms. 

  • Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and marketing campaigns, providing regular updates to senior leadership. 

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration. 

  • Tool and Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement data analytics tools and technologies to enhance the organization’s ability to analyze and interpret data effectively. 

  • Support Strategic Projects: Collaborate with the Director of Strategy, Insights, Analytics, and Competitive Intelligence on key strategic projects, contributing data-driven insights that inform business planning. 

Key Capabilities: 

  • Advanced analytical skills to analyze complex data sets, use statistical models, machine learning to synthesize insights. 

  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and transforming ray data into clear dashboards that inform strategy. 

  • Understanding of data analysis tools and software (Power BI, SAS, Tableau) 

  • Experience with data warehousing and governance to ensure data security and privacy. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and develop innovative solutions to support changing dynamic team needs. 

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare industries or highly regulated segments. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 

  • 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, including experience with advanced analytics techniques and data management. 

  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights that influence strategic business decisions. 

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in data analytics tools and platforms. 

  • Experience leading a team of data analysts, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,800.00-$151,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
