Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites. Skylo’s direct-to-device service is now live on millions of activated devices across five continents, with more than 60 million square kilometers of coverage, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Devices connected over satellite are managed and served by Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN, featuring a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core. Skylo provides an anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals: mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT.

This role is located in Mountain View, CA where we are onsite 3 days a week in office. 

Summary Of How You Will Impact Skylo

Skylo is hiring a Corporate FP&A Manager to help drive the mission of making satellite connectivity accessible to everyone. This high-visibility role is a key contributor in shaping financial strategy and ensuring that operational targets result in long-term business success. The position requires a highly analytical professional capable of providing the financial clarity needed to scale a global business in a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Contribute 

  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Analyze financial performance against KPIs, identifying and highlighting pertinent financial information.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that influence business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Analytics, and other internal teams for system implementation & automation efforts.
  • Support other ad hoc financial analysis & reporting as required.
  • Own the Unit Economics model. partner with Product and Engineering to track the cost-of-service (COGS) and how it impacts profitability at the customer or device level.

What We Look For 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or CPA/CFA plus).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data.
  • Ability to think strategically and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite and/or other financial planning & forecasting tools.
  • Prior experience in Investment banking, VC, or Telecom (plus).
  • A high bar for accuracy and the ability to build scalable, automated reporting processes.

Additional information

The compensation range for this position is: $141,600 - $159,000 plus equity. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
