Job Title: Manager, Consumer Analytics
Reports to: Director, Consumer Analytics
Location:  Goleta, CA (remote position)

Your Impact:

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Prioritize analytics requests based on business-impact and urgency and in alignment with strategic goals. Establish objectives and drive outcomes via analytics practices that tie to each brand’s business-strategy.
  • Responsible for planning, development, implementation, socialization, and maintenance of reports, dashboards and presentations that empower strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Responsible for team of analysts who serve a variety of company-wide stakeholders. Lead advancements in general data-literacy and analytics-adoption company-wide: partner closely with leadership and business stakeholders to embrace a culture of data-informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Digital and Data team to ensure best-in-class data infrastructure. Design and implement analytics solutions and definitions that enable consistency and scalability with cross-functional teams. Establish recurring platform for analytics-socialization, to provide clarity on impacts and new priorities, such as through a newsletter, cadenced-meetings, etc.

SALARY: $148,699-$150,000/year - The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Who You Are:

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Marketing, Management Information Systems or related field of study

• Or a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Marketing, Management Information Systems or related field of study and 3 years of experience in Business Analytics or Data Science role in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in Business Analytics or Data Science role
  • Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following
  • 5 years (3 years with a Master’s degree) of data visualization experience, including Tableau development experience.
  • working with data-sources to solve complex business questions.
  • using Excel to create ad-hoc datasources and lookup tables to enrich existing datasources, including the function of primary keys as they relate to joining disparate datasources.
  • Tableau, SQL, Google Analytics and Google BigQuery.
  • databases, blending datasets, data wrangling, data maintenance, and data cleaning.
  • transforming datasets into visuals.
  • project management.
  • defining business problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing conclusions.
  • interpreting and working with both structured and unstructured data.
  • presenting information in front of large groups including stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
