The Manager provides leadership and expert advice to management and to the members of his/her team.  This individual serves as a billable lead or consultant to our customers and will manage a small team of consultants and occasionally assist with sales activities. This person works closely with engagement and project managers to identify business needs, assist with staffing projects, and ensure work/life balance of our consultants are monitored and adjusted appropriately.  The Manager typically report to a Senior Manager/Director level position within the Delivery organization.  

 Responsibilities: 

  • Recruit, develop, manage and retain a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting integrations in Workday’s HCM, Payroll, and Financial applications 

  • Promote a team oriented, challenging and innovative work environment 

  • Lead and manage team on one or more customer engagements 

  • Work closely with engagement/project manager and team members to identify project needs and develop solutions and strategies 

  • Ensure consultants are adhering to the activities, processes and procedures outlined in Workday’s Implementation Methodology 

  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels 

  • Proactively manage team member’s schedule to insure they are properly utilized 

  • Establish annual goals and objectives during the annual review process 

  • Assist with the collection of performance feedback from customer and engagement/project manager on a quarterly basis or upon completion of project 

  • Meet with team members quarterly to provide performance and customer satisfaction feedback 

  • Drive annual performance review process for the team 

  • Internal Contribution 

  • Advise team members on methods of meeting internal contribution areas 

  • Actively participate in recruiting and retention activities 

  • Assist Resource Manager in providing guidance to staffing projects 

  • Seek opportunities for staff members to meet training and career plans.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 08/13/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $148,824 - $188,193 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
