A little about the role…

The Manager, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that attract, engage and retain top talent. This role leads the development of compensation structures, salary benchmarking, incentive programs and benefit administration. The ideal candidate will ensure our compensation and benefits programs align with company goals and key objectives while ensuring compliance with regulations.

What You Will Do…

  • Develop, implement, and manage compensation policies, structures, and programs (base and incentive pay)
  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and internal equity analysis to determine appropriate compensation levels
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonus planning
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation-related regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws)
  • Establish and maintain incentive plan programs aligned with key company metrics to drive value
  • Provide data-driven guidance and support to managers on compensation-related decisions
  • Manage compensation surveys and benchmarking tools
  • Educate leaders and employees on compensation philosophy and practices
  • Manage all employee benefits programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and disability)
  • Lead benefits open enrollment, including communication and education
  • Respond to employee benefit questions and troubleshoot benefits-related issues
  • Administer the leave process and consult with employees who are initiating or returning from a leave of absence
  • Manage payroll function and personnel to process company payroll
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate benefits administration and budgeting

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have…

  • 5+ years' of HR experience with a strong emphasis on total rewards, including 3+ years' dedicated to developing and managing compensation programs and pay structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and highly skilled in Excel, compensation surveys and benchmarking tools
  • Experience designing sales commission plans to drive performance
  • Thorough understanding of compensation laws and regulatory requirements, including FLSA, EEO, and pay equity standards
  • Knowledge of benefit plan design and related compliance regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems. UKG and PlanSource are a plus

Salary

$90,000-$110,000/year DOE

Location

This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a few days a week.
