Company Description

Comoto Holdings is America’s largest and fastest growing omnichannel platform in the powersports aftermarket-products industry; dedicated to advancing the experience of moto enthusiasts across the globe. Comoto’s brands, RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, REVER, and Common Tread, deliver premium products, dedicated expertise, engaging media, and passionate customer support of the rider community, through best-in-class e-commerce and retail experiences.

Job Description

Are you ready to drive the operational success behind unforgettable experiences for the powersports community? As our Manager of Community Events & Experience, you will lead the central coordination and execution of Comoto’s grassroots and store-level community strategies across our family of brands, including RevZilla, Cycle Gear, and J&P Cycles. From high-energy local Bike Nights to massive festivals like the Get On! Adventure Fest (GOAF), you will keep the gears turning behind the scenes to help us connect directly with riders.

If you are an organized project manager who thrives in high-momentum environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and loves running tight operations, this is your lane.

You Will...

  • Drive Event Project Management: Lead the central planning, logistics, and operational execution for major offline events, festival activations like GOAF, and our dynamic mobile Van Selling experiences.

  • Keep Store Logistics on Track: Partner closely with our Retail division to centrally organize and coordinate monthly Bike Night themes and in-store clinic pilots across the country.

  • Integrate the Comoto Ecosystem: Work cross-functionally to weave our core offerings, such as the REVER app, RPM membership, rider safety, and new-rider recruitment, into our grassroots activations.

  • Own the Ground Game: Team up with our BrandOps and Creative team to produce event SWAG, and collaborate with marketing teams to ensure our event calendars are fully supported.

  • Be the Face of the Brand: Bring strong social media fluency to the role. When you are on-site at community events without dedicated social media staff, you will step up as the face of our brands to capture and post authentic, live content.

  • Support Future Planning: Keep an eye on what is next by helping manage operational timelines for the eventual rollout of our online app community ecosystem.

Qualifications

You Have...

  • Proven Project and Team Leadership: 5 to 7 years of experience in a project management or leadership role, with a knack for coordinating moving parts across multiple locations and teams.

  • Deep Moto Fluency: A strong, authentic connection to the powersports industry and rider culture. Being an experienced motorcycle rider with a genuine passion for the two-wheel lifestyle is a requirement for this role.

  • Elite Collaboration Skills: The ability to seamlessly align decentralized teams, coordinate with third-party partners, and work harmoniously with store managers to ensure events support retail operations without causing distractions.

  • An Agile, Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfort navigating a fast-paced environment where you can balance your own project deadlines alongside cross-functional dependencies.

  • Readiness for the Road: The flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time during peak riding season (March through October) to manage activations on-site, dropping down to less than 20% during the off-season.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
