Job Summary: 

The Manager, Communication & Partner Training– Pets Best will own partner communications, partner communications and internal communications while driving continuous operational improvements to these processes. This will include aspects of solutions architecture and business analysis by researching and identifying new functionality and capabilities for Pets Best to define new solution requirements as needed. 

The role requires strong insurance background, communication skills, process & project management experience, coupled with strong analytical and influencing skills to coalesce cross-functional alignment. The role will be the liaison with the business, Technology and cross-functional teams to execute on the communication strategy and plan. 

This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with leadership on strategy, planning, and implementation efforts related to partner communication and training. 
  • Develop and execute partner training strategy. 
  • Participate in intake to determine the LOE and prioritization and be the subject matter expert for efforts that may involve partnership efforts. 
  • Lead projects to improve foundational partner interactions. 
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to develop Internal communication strategy and plan. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to lead discovery efforts, define solution scope and requirements for various efforts. 
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications or relevant field 
  • 7+ years in leadership roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing strategic initiatives 
  • Track record in leading growth 
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful personalized education programs 
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and partner with cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical and project management skills 
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions 
  • Experience in pet industry is a strong asset
