Manager, CNN Original Series
Your New Role...
CNN is seeking a Manager for CNN Original Series who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of CNN Original Series projects for both development and current. They will work closely with the other members of CNN's Original Series creative team as well as with outside producers and production companies.
Your Role Accountabilities...

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of select projects for CNN Original Series.
• Giving creative feedback (including noting cuts and creative outlines) of current series on alongside the CNN Original Series team.
• Work alongside other members of CNN Original Series in shaping CNN's current series to best exemplify and reflect the CNN Original Series brand.
• Liaise and coordinate all activities connected to the successful launch of series, working with the social, digital, research, PR and strategic marketing teams to ensure that all departments are aligned on launch strategy and activations.
• The individual must be able to take general development meetings from outside production companies on behalf of the team to communicate the department's mandate.
• They will often serve as the first point of contact and vetting for incoming content for CNN Original Series.
• They will work on development of original and unique show concepts for CNN Original Series that we can take to outside companies to produce.
• Manage and coordinate the development and production timelines of projects for CNN Original Series
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with the greater documentary and television production community.
• Be an expert on the news/information, lifestyle, and pop culture entertainment space.

Your Qualifications & Experiences...

• 5+ years non-scripted/documentary programming/development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and be successful in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• A 4-year college degree

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,440.00 - $154,960.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
