Location

This is a remote position.


Summary of Role 

The Manager, Capital Markets will be responsible for capital markets activities spanning across capital raising, execution, and modeling work to support the advancement of those opportunities. 


Strategic & Tactical

  • Capital markets focus on developing and executing hedging plan to support interest rates across the platform
  • Lead the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes
  • Responsible for reporting associated with Palmetto Finance to key financial stakeholders, while partnering with technology teams to ensure automation on reports
  • Develops & delivers skill set to be able to fund assets within the Joint Venture and other vehicles
  • Liaisons with Corporate Finance, Treasury, FP&A, and Billing Collections to ensure partnership and transparency on all things Palmetto Finance
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key banks and other key external partners
  • Is highly attuned to customer needs and requirements, and can anticipate their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; master’s or MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in banking or capital markets; solar industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of business economics, consumer trends and market landscape
  • Proactively identifies improvement opportunities across systems and processes, and implements solutions and updates them
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly
  • Collaborates seamlessly with internal teams in Finance & Accounting, Technology etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; can present to varying audiences and leaders
