Be part of a transformative initiative aimed at unlocking new opportunities for DraftKings and our customers. As a Manager, Business Development, you'll help grow and manage our third-party relationships, supporting high-impact partnerships that shape the DraftKings product experience. You'll be at the center of cross-functional collaboration, connecting internal teams with external vendors to drive performance and unlock new opportunities. This role demands sharp judgment, a solutions-first mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
What you'll do as a Manager, Business Development
  • Drive the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives through sourcing and evaluating new vendor partnerships and platform integrations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and operationalize agreements by collaborating with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Analytics teams.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence and financial analysis to support deal evaluation, and prepare executive-level summaries and strategy presentations for leadership alignment.
  • Manage day-to-day partner relationships, acting as the primary account manager to resolve issues, monitor KPIs, and ensure sustained engagement and performance.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensing documentation, ensuring adherence to jurisdictional requirements while overseeing reporting, invoicing, and internal reconciliation workflows.
  • Source and implement third-party tools and add-ons that enhance platform capabilities.
  • Support broader business development needs including market analysis, product research, and cross-functional strategic planning.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, commercial partnerships, or sales.
  • Strong background in structuring and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with precision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to inspire creativity and align teams around shared goals.
  • Experience in the gaming or technology industries strongly preferred.

Join Our Team
We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 130,400.00 USD - 163,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
