The Role: 

Minted is seeking a Brand Communications Manager (Temporary) to join our world-class Brand Communications team. In this role, you’ll drive media relations and paid media initiatives, helping elevate Minted’s brand presence across top-tier publications and channels.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and results-driven PR professional with 5-7+ years of media relations experience (agency experience preferred). You have a proven track record of securing impactful media placements, managing complex projects under tight deadlines, and working cross-functionally to execute high-impact campaigns. Your strong media relationships, exceptional communication skills, and deep understanding of lifestyle consumer brands—especially in the wedding, retail and design industries—make you a perfect fit for this role.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Brand Communications and works cross-functionally with the Influencer, Affiliate, Growth Marketing, Social and Brand Teams to drive effective and engaging communications and paid media strategies. 

This is a temporary role that is anticipated to run May 2025 - January 2026. New York City is the preferred location for this role.

You Will:

  • Own the conceptualization and execution of PR strategies that align with brand priorities across Minted’s diverse business segments—including Moms, Weddings, and Art—to drive awareness, engagement, and measurable results. Develop and implement campaigns that meet KPIs while ensuring cohesive brand storytelling across all verticals.
  • Proactively and consistently secure impactful media placements across print, digital, broadcast and social channels.
  • Manage day-to-day inbound media requests in a timely manner, including sample requests, image inquiries, and fact checks.
  • Execute paid media strategies to enhance brand visibility, including overseeing video production, managing talent integrations, and ensuring content aligns with brand strategy and campaign objectives. 
  • Execute talent and brand partnerships to drive meaningful awareness and engagement.
  • Brainstorm, manage and execute creative pitch angles that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and leverage insights to optimize strategy.
  • Build and maintain media lists, proactively identifying new contacts and opportunities
  • Lead planning and execution for events, including press previews and partnership launches.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure communications efforts align with marketing and business goals.

You Are:

  • Passionate about media and content performance across different marketing channels, with the ability to communicate channel needs effectively.
  • A self-starter mentality, able to prioritize and adapt to shifting deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Highly results-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented with outstanding organization, follow-up and time-management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset, capable of using insights to inform recommendations and take action.
  • Passionate about art, design, weddings and celebrations, and creative pursuits; and have a finger on the pulse of emerging lifestyle trends.

You Have:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in media relations, agency experience preferred.
  • A proven ability to achieve business objectives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong media relationships, an excellent pitching track-record and ability to generate consistent top-target results.
  • Depth of knowledge in lifestyle consumer brands with a strong affinity for design.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive and engaging storytelling approach.

Compensation: 

The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.

Geo Base Full Salary Range - $70.00/hr - $90.00/hr 

Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated job responsibilities, and/or other business or organizational needs.
