JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager, ASO Content & Optimization owns the execution of App Store Optimization initiatives across creative, content, storefront refreshes, metadata updates, and app store optimization workflows. This role ensures that ASO recommendations move efficiently from strategy and insights into market across mobile and CTV app store surfaces. The role partners closely with Creative, Product, Platform, Editorial/Merchandising, Analytics, Partner Marketing, and Delivery & Ops to manage asset movement, creative briefs, approvals, app store updates, and launch readiness.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own ASO creative and content workflows that enable faster, cleaner movement of creative, metadata, and storefront updates into market, including creative briefs, asset routing, versioning, approvals, content library management, and storefront update readiness.
  • Manage app store refresh calendars, content priorities, metadata updates, IAE support, and optimization cycles across mobile and CTV platforms to ensure timely execution and stronger app store performance.
  • Coordinate across Creative, Product, Platform, Editorial/Merchandising, Partner Marketing, Analytics, and Delivery & Ops to improve alignment, streamline execution, and keep ASO initiatives moving across teams.
  • Translate ASO insights and performance recommendations into actionable creative, content, metadata, storefront updates, and testing inputs.
  • Support ASO testing execution by coordinating creative inputs, test assets, launch timing, documentation, and post-test updates in partnership with the ASO Performance & Analytics Manager.
  • Track deliverables, approvals, risks, dependencies, status updates, next steps, and launch readiness across ASO initiatives to ensure clear visibility and accountability.
  • Maintain ASO creative trackers, content libraries, app store update documents, presentation materials, and leadership review inputs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, creative consistency, storefront quality, app store refresh execution, IAE priorities, and overall optimization velocity.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 7+ years of experience in ASO, app store merchandising, content operations, creative operations, digital marketing, partner marketing, or app marketing
  • Strong understanding of app store creative, metadata, storefront updates, content priorities, and optimization workflows
  • Experience managing creative briefs, asset routing, approvals, versioning, content libraries, and launch timelines
  • Highly organized with strong project coordination skills and the ability to move work across Creative, Product, Platform, Analytics, Marketing, and Delivery/Ops teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean trackers, timelines, creative status documents, and app store update materials
  • Experience with Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Roku, Amazon, Samsung, LG, Vizio, or other CTV/app platform submission workflows
  • Experience supporting in-app events, promotional content, app store merchandising, featured placements, or storefront refreshes
  • Ability to translate ASO insights and performance recommendations into actionable creative, content, and metadata updates
  • Comfortable managing multiple app store surfaces, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines at once
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Familiarity with ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, Mobile Action, SplitMetrics, or similar platforms
  • Entertainment, streaming, subscription, media, or direct-to-consumer experience
  • Familiarity with creative testing, product page optimization, custom product pages, or store listing experiments
  • Experience using AI tools to support creative briefing, content organization, metadata exploration, competitive tracking, workflow efficiency, or presentation development

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-160,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
