JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Manager to join our Ad Sales Finance team. This role will support digital expense management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analytical support across the ad sales organization. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Monthly Close, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Perform monthly financial close activities including expense accruals, journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly metrics reports highlighting key variance drivers and business insights
  • Develop executive commentary for reporting packages and network finance teams
  • Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments while maintaining strong financial control 
  • Update digital models with actuals, revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions 

Analysis & Daily Operations

  • Design, enhance, and maintain advanced financial models to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Field ad hoc reporting requests from Sales management and Corporate Finance
  • Partner cross functionality with digital sales and inventory/yield to ensure forecasts reflect business drivers and market trends
  • Improve reporting processes through automation and standardized reporting tools, increasing efficiency and data accuracy

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of digital media experience with a strong track record of analytical and strategic contributions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to produce high quality deliverables
  • Comfort working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data set

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $110,000.00-121,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
