Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Managed Services Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of infrastructure and telecommunications projects across diverse client environments. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-vendor projects from initiation through completion while ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to deliver high-value services in dynamic and fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of managed services projects, from initial planning through deployment and close-out.
  • Oversee 80+ concurrent or sequential projects annually, with a focus on business infrastructure services such as EIA, SD-WAN, GPON, and firewall installations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and third-party carriers (e.g., AT&T, CenturyLink, Verizon) to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, status updates, process flows, and post-implementation reports.
  • Monitor and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery and operational readiness.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures to improve project workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Act as primary liaison for customer communications, ensuring high satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Use project tracking tools to provide consistent reporting and updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the telecommunications,  or managed services industry.
  • Proven experience managing large volumes of complex technical projects involving network infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of networking technologies such as SD-WAN, Ethernet, GPON, firewalls, DSLAMs, and EIA.
  • Strong working knowledge of carrier coordination, provisioning, and circuit ordering (ASR/LSR/SI).
  • Experience working with multiple telecom carriers and understanding their operational processes.
  • Proficiency with project management software and internal databases.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills for business process analysis and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills across cross-functional teams and client-facing roles.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification.
  • Experience with enterprise customers and/or educational institutions.
  • Familiarity with provisioning tools and telecom databases.
  • Ability to identify root causes of technical or operational issues and resolve them quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
