POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Account Manager - Major Accounts is responsible for selling Maxon products to existing and new customers within their assigned territory, which consists of some of Maxon’s largest and most strategic customers. This role supports both new and renewing business and serves as the primary commercial contact for meeting the needs of Maxon customers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for selling Maxon products to our largest customers across a variety of industry sectors, with a focus on Media & Entertainment companies
- This role focuses on retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers and acquiring new customer groups within existing major accounts
- Build executive level relationships through regular engagement with executives and management within creative, technical and procurement departments, providing customers with a clear understanding of the value and competitive advantages of Maxon’s products
- Collaborate and build trust among internal and customer stakeholders
- This role sells via a mix of onsite customer visits, industry tradeshow events, phone, email, video, social media messaging and other electronic means.
- Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of Maxon products, services and pricing policies, as well as knowledge of the other competitors in the industry and how their products compare to Maxon’s
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of Sales experience, responsible for full-cycle sales to Enterprise accounts in a B2B selling environment, preferably in the Media & Entertainment industry
- A track record of success achieving and/or exceeding sales quotas
- Global mindset, comfortable working with cross-regional, cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills to enable communication with internal teams and clients throughout the region.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM system
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or comparable experience
Salary Range (California)*: 200-250K USD OTE
