The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance, and working closely with engineering personnel.

Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all maintenance tasks on the manufacturing equipment and facilities at the plant in Granite City. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of repair/maintenance duties related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum systems, and other related components used throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:• Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) as per schedule.• Completes work orders as assigned.• Works with engineering department personnel to execute PMs.• Repairs/maintains production equipment according to safety guidelines and established policies.• Adheres to standard operating procedures.• Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.• Experience working with automated equipment and robotics a plus.• Basic knowledge of computerized control systems.• Good verbal and written communication skills.• Strong organizational skills.• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.• Forklift certification required.• Must have basic hand tools.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, pull, push, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and use repetitive motion.
