Description

We are currently looking for a Mainframe Software Engineer to join one of our PartnerOne Companies! If you are a Software Engineer with experience within a Mainframe environment, we urge you to apply and our recruiters will reach out to you for an initial interview.
Responsibilities:

- Manage the Client relationship for Support-type interactions on our Editique software offering
- Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support on our software solutions running on the IBM z/OS (MVS) Mainframe environment at our clients' sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical and application issues reported by clients
- Fix issues in the relevant modules (Cobol, JCL, TSO/ISPF, etc.) to deliver patches
- Collaborate with internal development teams, solution experts, and client operations teams
- Define and execute non-regression test cases
- Deliver patches and assist clients with implementation
- Write and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes

- Provide Level 1 and 2 support on our new software solutions (Windows client and servers, or Kubernetes / Linux)
- Participate in document model design projects with the Services teams using our new software offering



Requirements

We are looking for someone who has experience with the following:

- Proficiency in IBM z/OS (MVS) Mainframe environment
- Proficiency in JCL and COBOL languages
- Knowledge of VSAM file management
- Operational or technical knowledge in the field of Editique (asset): Print and envelope insertion workshops, AFP print format, etc.
- Experience with ticketing and collaborative work tools (e.g., Zoho Desk, MS SharePoint)
- Expertise in MS Word (a plus)

- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
