We are continuously expanding the capabilities of SentinelOne, actively listening to customers and responding to their needs. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for delivering the macOS endpoint agent, who will be directly involved in our core technology to ensure we stay ahead of cybercriminals. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a track record of hiring, leading, and retaining a world-class engineering team.
What will you do?At SentinelOne you will be leading a team of globally distributed System and Kernel developers who work deeply within the macOS operating system. You will be working directly on our core technology in a role that would also involve leading responses to events that occur in the field, driving root causes and patches when needed. You will drive design decisions around improving agent architecture and determining areas that need to be proactively improved based on team findings.
The engineering team is also responsible for researching and identifying emerging issues and providing appropriate responses. The team will work closely with Support, Sales and Quality Assurance to ensure any new issues are quickly addressed and then made a part of the ongoing releases.
What skills and experience should you bring?- 4+ years of experience in software engineering management
- 6+ years of prior experience in systems and kernel development
- Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals
- Proven track record of successfully delivering core customer facing features
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
