As a Machinist - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools to produce precision metal parts and instruments. Your role is critical in ensuring that components meet exact specifications and quality standards, supporting the manufacturing process with skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of Honeywell’s aerospace manufacturing operations, contributing to the production of high-precision parts that are essential for aerospace safety and performance.
 

Responsibilities

•    Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
•    Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain tight tolerances.
•    Maintain and troubleshoot machine tools to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
 

Qualifications

The annual base salary range for this position is <$64,000.00 - $96,000.00>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience as a machinist or similar role
  • 6+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
