Serve as brand ambassador in the showroom: greet customers, educate on vehicles and features, manage CRM contacts and follow-ups, support test drives and deliveries, attend training, meet sales and KPI targets, troubleshoot vehicle tech, work evenings/weekends, and maintain professional presentation.
Luxury Sales Specialist operates as a brand ambassador who focuses on providing exceptional customer service and information on our vehicles with the objective of educating our customers on our products.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of sales experience in the high-end luxury industry (clothing, jewelry, auto, etc.)
- Passion for providing exceptional customer experience with excellent customer service skills, and a desire to deliver top-notch customer service principles and practices
- Positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the automotive industry
- High level of proficiency and knowledge of computers, mobile devices, smartphones, and software applications (esp. MS Office, Google Docs, etc.)
- Experience with CRM applications (Salesforce) desired
- Technologically savvy with the ability to easily maneuver and troubleshoot vehicle technology features
- Strong professionalism and personal presentation
- Strong sense of teamwork with the ability to also work independently and efficiently
- Great attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the ambassador for the brand and O’GARA - greet and welcome all customers entering the showroom, assist with controlling the customer flow and traffic, offer beverage service
- Deliver exceptional customer service - engage, educate, and excite prospective customers on the brand, vehicles, promotions, and events
- Tour the customer around the showroom and exterior lot – showcase and highlight the vehicles and merchandise, introduce to key personnel, and discuss current and upcoming promotions and events
- Become the subject matter expert - attend required training classes and sales meetings; obtain the necessary training for factory certification and product knowledge for each model; be up-to-date with any brand and company communication as well as any vehicle alerts, recalls, etc., and help effectively communicate information to involved parties; master all respective brand products - models, stats, price ranges, years, colors, vehicle optionality, and brand competition
- Utilize the brand, CRM databases, and tools to achieve and exceed target CRM goals (as set by management) for outbound phone calls, emails, texts, written communication, appointments, follow-ups, and test drives
- Ensure all new and current customer contact information and interactions are entered and/or updated into the CRM database promptly
- Gather basic information to elegantly “hand over” and introduce/transition the customer to sales team, skillfully utilize the “up system” for sales team
- Actively contribute to the achievement of monthly sales and delivery targets by achieving and exceeding individual and store (vehicle and merchandise) sales, and KPI targets set by management
- Tour and educate customers before and during test drives; ensure all required protocols, policies, procedures, and safety precautions are followed on all test drives
- Present management all offers made by customers to purchase vehicles; assist with compiling all information necessary to complete the deal
- Communicate and work with Porters to prepare and stage vehicles in advance of any scheduled appointments or deliveries; for deliveries – ensure all keys, accessories, etc. are prepared and ready for the customer, prepare and coordinate for the reveal ceremony
- On deliveries, execute customer documents; tour, educate, and highlight customers on vehicle functions, highlight vehicle features and functions; assist customer with setting up all personal vehicle preferences and sync mobile devices; partner with management to deliver an exceptional customer experience through gifting, meals, photos/videos, etc.
- Assist customer with troubleshooting vehicle technology features, provide house-call service for customers in the immediate area (as needed)
- Promote brand, company, vehicles, and events thru company social media accounts
- Attend on-site and off-site brand and company events as scheduled by management
- Effectively work and communicate across all departments (Finance, Service, Parts, Preowned, Marketing, etc.)
- Participate in opening/closing showroom procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Managers
